Le coupable a placé la bombe pour venger son camarade que la police a tué accidentellementlors qu'il prenait la fuite. Hagiwara était l'ami de </span></span>Jinpei Matsuda qui réussit à desarmer les autres bombes. L'autre coupable a fomenté un plan de revanche 4 ans plus tard.</p>

<p style="margin-bottom: 0cm; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none">Ethan Hondou sacrifie sa vie pour protéger la couverture de sa fille, après une erreur de cette dernière.</p>

<p style="margin-bottom: 0cm; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none">Le virus informatique appelé le "Baron Noir" ruine le jeu de Kaneshiro Genichiro basé sur la romance.</p>

<p style="margin-bottom: 0cm; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none">Jinpei Matsuda rejoint la Première Division de la Police Métropolitaine sous la tutelle de Miwako Sato. Le 7 novembre, Jinpei Matsuda est tué par une bombe se trouvant dans la cabine n°72 de la Grande Roue du Centre Commercial d'Haido. La bombe a été posée par le même homme qui a tué le partenaire de Matsuda, Kenji Hagiwara, quatre ans auparavant. Matsuda se sacrifia pour transmettre un indice essentiel sur l'emplacement de la seconde bombe.</p>

<p style="margin-bottom: 0cm; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none">Shuichi Akai reçoit le nom de code Rye, et travaille sous les ordres de Gin, mais il est renvoyé de l'Organisation des Hommes en Noir après qu'André Camel ai fait échouer le piège destiné à Gin.</p>

<p style="margin-bottom: 0cm; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none"><span style="font-style: normal">Tequila se présente au bureau de la société Itakura, en lui disant qu'il était intéressé par le programme qu'Itakura a abandonné il y a un an.</span></p>

<p style="margin-bottom: 0cm; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none">A New York, Vermouth tente d'attirer et de tuer Shuichi Akai en étant déguisé en un tueur en série. Son complot échoue lorsqu'Akai lui tire dans le ventre. Ran rencontre Akai pendant que ce dernier était à la recherche du tueur en série. Vermouth tente de tuer Ran dans un escalier de secours, mais glisse et est sauvée de la mort par les deux adolescents.</p>

<p style="margin-bottom: 0cm; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none">Teiko, la soeur de l'oncle d'Hiroshi Agasa, décède à 76 ans.</p>

<p style="margin-bottom: 0cm"><span style="font-style: normal"><span style="text-decoration: none"><span style="font-weight: normal">Kansuke Yamato pourchasse un homme en liberté conditionnelle qu'il croit impliqué dans la mort mystérieuse de Kuroto Kai, dans la montagne où il a été pris dans une avalanche pendant laquelle il perdut son oeil gauche et sa jambe. Il était porté disparu et présumé mort, mais son camarade </span></span></span><span style="font-style: normal"><span style="text-decoration: none"><span style="font-weight: normal">Takaaki "Koumei" Morofushi, inspecteur de police alla à l'encontre des ordres pour traquer les criminels et retrouver Yamato.</span></span></span></p>

<p lang="fr-FR" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none">Itakura Saguru est donné un délai d'un an pour finaliser le programme que lui a commandé Tequila.</p>

<p lang="fr-FR" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none">Wataru Date est tué par un conducteur somnolent alors qu'il travaillait sur une affaire avec Wataru Takagi. La petite amie de Date se suicide peu après. Un proche de cette petite amie, pesant à tort qu'elle s'est tuée parce qu'un agent de police nommé Wataru lui avait fait du mal, il jeta sa haine sur le mauvais Wataru, Takagi.</p>

<p lang="fr-FR" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none">Sharon Vineyard mourut et Chris Vineyard se manifesta pour la première fois lors de ses funérailles.</p>

 

<p lang="fr-FR" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none">Kaito Kuroba prit la relève et devint Kaito Kid. Lui et Shinichi ont eu leur première confrontation près de l'horloge de Tokyo.</p>

=== Arc Conan ===

<p lang="fr-FR" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none">Shinichi va à Tropical Land avec Ran pour fêter sa récente victoire au championnat de karaté. Il rencontre alors deux membres, d'une organisation secrète, appelés Gin et Vodka. Ils administrent un étrange poison à Shinichi, qui a pour effet de le rétrécir en un enfant de 7 ans, aors que les hommes pensaient qu'il allait le tuer.</p>

<p lang="fr-FR" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none">Shinichi créa un pseudonyme, Conan Edogawa, et alla vivre à l'Agence du Détective Mouri, dans l'espoir de faire du mauvais détective Kogoro Mouri un détective de renom, pour trouver des affaires en lien avec la mystérieuse organisation qui l'a empoisonné.</p>

<p lang="fr-FR" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none">En évitant tout soupçon, Conan intègre l'école élémentaire de Teitan.</p>

<p lang="fr-FR" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none">Akemi Miyano est tuée par l'agent de l'Organisation des Hommes en Noir, Gin. Le vol d'un million de yens devait libérer elle et sa sœur de l'Organisation. Sa mort fit que sa sœur arrêta le développement de l'APTX 4869. La mort d'Akemi Miyano créa une haine contre l'Organisation des Hommes en Noir chez Shuichi Akai.</p>
